Enrolments - Enrolment Information

Surfside Primary School is able to accept enrolments for all year levels from Foundation to Year 6.

Our school is zoned for enrolment under the following criteria:

1.       Students for whom the school is the designated neighbourhood school.

 2.      Students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time.

Enrolments can only be accepted if Surfside Primary School is your closest neighbourhood school. A student's designated neighbourhood school is generally the school that is nearest the student's permanent address as determined by the school zone. The website https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au provides guidance on which school zone a student's permanent residence is located within.

We start accepting Foundation enrolments during the second term of each school year, for students starting the following year.

By ensuring you have enrolled your child by the end of term 2 you will  guarantee that your child will be involved in our transition program which is conducted in Term 4 of the previous year.

All enrolment forms must be accompanied with a copy of your child's's Birth Certificate and completed Immunisation History Statement. We also require one form of identification or a document confirming your residential address (e.g Diver's License or Council Rates Notice)

Please contact the school office on 5256 1411 for more information or if you have any further questions about enrolling your child at Surfside Primary School.

For our new families we have created a virtual school tour which can be found below.
